Julia Roberts Drops 10K On Baby Shopping
June
2007
Julia
Roberts and hubby, Danny Moder, recently dropped 10K
at the trendy LA baby boutique, 'Petit Tresor.' They
bought matching cribs for their Malibu and New Mexico
nurseries, amongst other items, that tallied up to more
than a cheap new car.
Is
10K too much to spend on a child?

"Hey,
that is a lot of cash. I wish I were so lucky to have
parents that showered me with cash and tricked out my
crib when I was a little one. I didn't even know my
father."

"Oh,
if you can give your children anything in the world
– why not? In fact, who wouldn't? My father gave me
everything I wanted. He would do anything for me – and
I love him for it."
What
a nice materialistic bond you have with your father.
We should all be so lucky.

"That
is a lot of bling. I guess if you are stinking rich,
why not. Most people can't relate to having that kind
of disposable cash to drop on stuff you won't use in
a year or so. If I was a betting man, and I am not,
I would see if I could double the 10G's first, and then
get a crib."
Thank
God you don't write children's books, Joe. We would
have a national problem on our hands.
