What About 'Idol's' Runner-Up, Scruffy Boy, Blake?
|
May 2007
Okay,
so now that Jordin Sparks is the end all be all winner of "American Idol," what
of the romance prospects for 'Idol's' captivating young man, Blake Lewis? His
contemporary, almost Bono-like swagger surely seemed to strike a chord with the
young ladies.
His
beat boxing was hip and cool. Are
his romance prospects just as hip and cool?

"I
give him two thumbs up, baby. Blake will be able to take his pick. He might need
to work on his romance game for a year or two, but he by far has been the coolest
runner-up, yet. He'll do alright."
For
a change, we agree with you, Joe.

"Okay,
he was pretty good. I do like Blake and I like his romance chances. He is cool
and smart. His songs were contemporary and I think that will make his romance
contemporary as well. He will end up alright from all of this."
If
you say so, Sharon.

"Okay,
I will have to give Blake some credit. His beat-boxing was as good as Slick Rick's,
back in the day. He really seemed to have a coolness about him that really connected
with the younger urban scene. The problem with "American Idol," is they tend to
favor the ones that sing all the traditional old crap. They want to reincarnate
an old star and not reinvent something new. Blake was something new. His romance
should be the bomb."
Way
to explode, Teddy.
