Is Tom Hanks Still The Man?

September 2007 Two-time Oscar winner, Tom Hanks, has been elected as one of the VP's of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), a.k.a. 'The Academy' (they give the 'Oscars'). AMPAS announced Hanks' appointment on Wednesday after he previously served as a governor of their actor's branch. Tom Hanks has enjoyed an A-list career over almost entirely the past two decades.  Is his romantic value still A-list as well?

Teddy Celeb "Hell, yeah!  Ever since "Forrest Gump" Hanks has been riding super high.  He has done nothing but impressed audiences since. I could even see him being the next Governor of California one day." Really?

Anita Star "What the hell is this organization anyhow?  Do they vote for the Oscars?  Oh, okay.  I see.  That is pretty neat." Yeah, Anita, Tom Hanks can now vote for himself.

Joe "Papa" Razzi "He is well liked by damn near everyone.  That is always a good romantic quality and because of that he is still pretty darn near the top.  In my opinion, his best film is still "Bachelor Party."" Why does that not surprise us, Joe?
