Throughout the month we've had to undergo the spectacle of Paris going to jail and then getting out, only to get thrown back in. She claims she suffered from a mysterious illness while she was in jail.

Oh, dear, what could it be? Are there any medical experts amongst our esteemed staff?

"I don't know what it is, but I am sure it is absolutely awful and that the judge should cut her every break in the world. I mean, how they can lock up this little princess for a little transgression like driving without a license? She is not a hardcore criminal."

The law is the law, Anita.

"Hmm… what are we supposed to do here? I mean, yea, I don't think she is really sick. She is uncomfortable. But, hey, isn't jail supposed to make you feel that way? I don't think they should let her out for this. Whether she should be locked up to begin with is another story."

"Yeah, well she's got a case of the celebrity blues… The benefit is this will not affect her romance at all, because she never did anything, anyway. She was a 'celebutante'. This means she is famous for being famous and that's it. Many people found that romantic. Nothing will change now…"
