Over 60, Has Harrison Ford Still Got it?

September 2007

Hard to believe nearly two and half decades have transpired since Harrison Ford wooed all women as the rugged and handsome Indiana Jones.   Now, over 60, Harrison Ford lives a life relatively out of the spotlight but still manages to keep itcoming on the silver screen.  He is slated to play 'Indiana Jones' yet again for another installment of the famous series.

We ask our panel if they think he can still crack the whip and dodge the asps like he did as a younger 'Indie'.

Sharon Moore

"I loved him in those "Raiders of the Lost Ark" movies.  I still remember seeing them at the movie theater my father owned.  Naturally, I was there front and center cheering him all the way.  It was great and he was great.  He is great now, too, and very romantic in a rugged, fatherly kind of way.  He is living proof that men age well and can still age well far into their 60's.  Heck, I even think Clint Eastwood is hot and he's in his 70's.”

Your father owned a movie theater?  You really do come from money.

Roxy Ray

"I think he is old enough to be my dad.  My dad is gross.  I do like the whip thing.  Reminds me of this gig I had between shows in Vegas.  My favorite Harrison Ford movie was "ET," I think."

Okay.  We'll just move on to our next panelist.

Anita Star

"I accidentally rented that "Indiana Jones" movie.  I thought I would hate it, but I had to admit I was captivated by the whole story.  I was really surprised the Nazi's had found a nuclear ark and were going to blow us up with it.  Man, the Civil War looked pretty rough.  It was nice to know that Harrison was there to save the day.  Also, I wasn't even born when the movie came out."

Well, we will take that as a yes, that you still believe Harrison is romantic.

Editor's Note: we may need to have our panelists brush up on their trivia knowledge.
