Does Angelina's Mighty Heart Shine
In Her New Film?
July
2007
Angelina
Jolie plays the part of Mariane Pearl, wife of the late
Daniel Pearl, who was beheaded by terrorists in Pakistan
in 2002. Jolie seems to revel in political-minded films
as of late and seems to pick them carefully.
Can
a politically-minded and activist-oriented actress strike
romantic appeal? Or, must they be flakey? Has Angelina
come full circle from her Billy Bob Thornton days? Our
panel chimes in...

"Hey,
it is nice that she wants to take on more serious roles.
It still doesn't make her a good actor. However, she
is still smokin' hot. I wouldn't kick her to the curb
for making a bad movie, that's for sure."
Nice
shirt, Joe. Why don't you tuck it in next time?

Anita
Star
"I
think she's taking a chance with all these serious films.
She seemed to be solely eye candy up until this point.
She is very beautiful, but I agree with Joe that she
is not much of an actress in my opinion. She was good
in that movie about space ... "Armageddon." Oh,
that was Liv Tyler...actually, I don't remember her
in anything..."
Who
is holding those dice, Anita?
"What
dice?"

"I
think her films make Angie more romantic. Especially,
the film "A Mighty Heart." It's about that reporter
that got killed over there – right? Anyways, it shows
she really has a big heart and has definitely moved
on from her rebel days. But, I like chicks with tattoos,
too… "
Have
you moved on from your rebel days, Teddy?
